On Monday, October 12th, Robin Lloyd successfully defended his thesis entitled “Ecology and Persistence of the Gopher Tortoise (Gopherus polyphemus) in Southwest Alabama.” Robin was advised by Dr. Adam Chupp (Committee Chair), Dr. John McCreadie, Dr. Steve Schultze, and Dr. Jeremiah Henning. Robin will soon be a full time employee with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Congratulations to Robin and everyone who aided him in this journey!!
